I like the design of escondido-treeservice.com website for a couple reasons. I think it is designed for the modern attention span, cause just as I am starting to read it, it toggles to the other image and power-words. Also, when viewed on a computer, you don't see the words as much as you do the image of the guy in the tree, and so you receive the whole experience as a sort of gestault. I like it.
The problem for me is that when it is viewed on the phone. I have attached a couple images of what I don't like about the mobile view.

I think the background image and the whole look here is rather amateurish, when viewed on a computer. However on mobile it don't look too bad.
What I think looks fantastic is Maidthis.com. That one has cartoon drawings, which is not the point, but it looks great either on the computer and on mobile. Check it out.

I think a website should be showcasing the company and what it stands for. Here's what I came up with today:
