Description of the organization and its target audience
This logo design is for a team, Technical Operations, which is a group of process engineers in the food manufacturing industry.
We have sketched some logos which include a "ratcheted" gear to represent our focus in manufacturing, and microchip circuits as a reference to our involvement in data around manufacturing technology.
Our desired logo should include:
- A circular gear shape using a better looking version of a "ratchet" type gear
- Must include the team name "Technical Operations", either options where the wording is wrapped around the logo or under/adjacent with a modern/technical to cue the engineering team.
- Attempt to include the "rising star" into the logo, behind or around the main component of the logo, to tie back to our parent company. An EPS file of this graphic is provided.
- Some visual cue of data / digital, such as the microchip circuitry, is desired, although this can be very minor or eliminated if it is too busy aesthetically with the must-haves above.
- Using yellows, blacks, and grays as the main colors.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
