Description of the organization and its target audience
Lake Tahoe Rowing Association, aka RowTahoe, is a new Masters (adults 21+) rowing club forming in the Lake Tahoe area. The club will row on Lake Tahoe and compete with other rowing clubs from across North America.
Note the club is exclusively rowing, NOT kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, etc. Designs that are not rowing-specific will be rejected.

The official name of the club is Lake Tahoe Rowing Association, but we brand as "RowTahoe."
You can see our website at http://rowtahoe.org. We are currently using the outline/depth chart illustration of the lake shown at the upper left corner as our placeholder logo, and would be open to incorporating it into the final design (it is drm-free). A copy is attached if you would like to experiment with it. The other attached image is our current oar blade design, which includes the lake illustration.
Note that prevailing colors in the area are blue (the water of the lake), green (the trees surrounding the lake), and white (the snow on the mountains around the lake). We would like our design to reflect the beauty of the Tahoe Basin, but also to have a slightly more "modern" feel than most older rowing clubs.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
