Looking for a simple, non-gradient mark that must look good when boiled down to a single color printed on a physical or digital product, much like the Bluetooth or WiFi symbols we’re accustomed to. Or, for a logo font example, think of Creative Commons or Closed Caption (CC) circle/oval, the VHS tape logo or the NASA worm font for instance. You may provide a color version using blues and/or blacks as well. Specifications are intentionally broad to solicit a wide range of ideas. The logo may “suggest” a connection to cell DNA but cannot be read/confused as DNA. It must clearly be read as DVA to someone seeing it for the first time.
If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
