The client wanted dark neutrals and teal with an emphasis on the microphone. I added a soundwave behind the name to add texture. I went with all caps for the name and lowercase for "voiceover artist" to highlight the intended hierarchy of information, primarily because I noticed in the client's inspiration logos that he tended toward all caps or all lowercase rather than the standard "Eric Lacy - Voiceover Artist". I try to get inside the head of my client and figure out his or her tastes even when they can't pinpoint exactly what it is that they like.
