Bluestem Hotel will be located in a suburban market in Los Angeles. It is an exterior 60-room mid market (not luxury) boutique hotel (rooms around $200 per night). We want to attractive 1) hip and traditional corporate travelers and 2) leisure millennial travelers coming to the area for beach, shopping, breweries. Thus, we want the logo to be semi-professional but fun and thoughtful also (without being too cutesy). We do not want a corporate or flowery literal logo - we want something modern. Bluestem is a type of strong grass common in California that reflects the coastal calm vibe of this new hotel. The hotel has bamboo, wood, greenery and light elements. It's meant to be a sanctuary from the busy suburban city it is in. The city has craft breweries, high end mall, beach and many large corporate headquarters - so it's busy!
