McIntyre Media Inc.
We produce and distribute educational videos to institutions across Canada. We also host custom playlists chosen by educators.
http://www.pbs.org - I like the line of content at the top with the featured player below and the content broken into subjects. Clean site.
http://www.aetv.com - I like the featured item at the top with the box of other featured videos below. Bold colors but not too busy.
http://shows.ctv.ca/video.aspx - I like the player at the top and the general layout with the individual channels highlighted below (these could be subjects). It is a bit stretched and could have the lines of content a bit closer together.
On the homepage we would like to see a more current layout that emphasizes our video content. We require less text than on the current site and would like to highlight content by subject. Primary pieces to include would be a Featured/Bestseller player with smaller images arranged by subject. Three essential buttons are required. One to land on a Films on Demand (streaming subscription service) page, one for a McIntyre Playlist (hosted custom service) and one to reflect the Most Recently Added titles.
The second page should be configured to display products (with the shopping cart) as can be found on our current site. It should be clean with the description easy to read.
Target audience is educators from kindergarten through post-secondary in Canada. Our best sales come from new content that is recently added or featured.
