How Linguaphobe started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Coastal Spirits is a distilled spirits production company ("distillery") with a product line that includes vodkas, gins, liqueurs, bitters, etc. As the digital face of the business, the website will inform potential customers and followers about new products, events, and certain day-to-day activities (blog). We won't be selling our primary products online, however in the very near future we will need to be able to sell logo items (e.g. shot glasses, t-shirts, accessories etc.).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink
"Coming Soon" page only
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Northern California-coastal inspired: fog swept coasts, rolling hills, massive waves, cold water, rocky shoreline, plunging cliffs, sunsets and sea life. Geared toward a 35-55 demographic. Luxury lifestyle brand... understated, simple. Photo-centric design, featuring sandy beaches, bonfires. Typography should be graceful and clean, not too chunky or blocky. Color palette should include the blues and golds from my logo... also mossy greens and sunset hues.
1. Home screen -- A blurb about the company, with a few images. Will be used as the template for other pages such as an image gallery, the Our Story page, Awards page, Contact Us page, "Where to find" pages etc.
2. Products page -- browse our lineup of spirits with tasting notes, sample recipes, etc. Same will be used as the template for our logo products sold online.
3. Blog -- Featuring posts and updates about the company and the industry as a whole
The site will require an age verification window to pop up first. (No one under 21 allowed.) However, I'm not counting that as a separate page at the moment. (I am guessing a popup could be added during the coding phase, or a modified version of the home screen template could be used.)
