Alicia’s Inn is located in the center of Philipsburg, St. Maarten on the Backstreet. Perfectly located on the Backstreet, which is the main shopping area in the capital. Less than 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. Alicia’s Inn has nine regular (double) rooms and two large (quads) rooms. The property is busy with upgraded (tiles, new concrete roof, new bathroom design/ fixtures etc) to improve the guest experience. All units are fully furnished. For the perfect location at a great quality and price, Alicia’s Inn is the choice.
Our target group is tourist from the US and also the neighboring islands. So it has to be very attractive, but I want something clear with a nice design.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
I would like the logo colors to be used in the design and also include something tropical. Note,--- I do not want palm trees. I would like to see pictures of the island. Unfortunately, we are in construction thus from the property I do not have pictures yet. However, I need to have the website ready to start Alicia's Inn promotion.
Home Page-- Should introduce our hotel in a clear manner and promote out main selling point as being in the heart of the city plus close to the ocean. Attached is the logo and website outline. The design should be something like a basic template that can be used in the other pages, so I can know what design direction we are going before we start the other pages.
For me it has to have something tropical with the website (either tropical color that matches the logo or something that represents the tropics), but simple and classic. Personally the information should be easily accessible and the person surfing the website should be able to know where to go to get an overview of the hotel and book.
What to avoid
I want tropical feel, but no palm trees. I also do not want the site too busy/too many things in it.
Attached is the website outline. From the homepage design the headings that needs to be on the main page. I prefer a vertical listing.
