He didn't get the idea of branding, and details. I wanted the winner to do the complete branding, but this designer doesnt seem to have the idea of branding guidelines.
Wonderful work with our logo design and great at receiving and applying feedback. Thank you for everything!
How nao.finisterre started their logo & social media pack journey
Who are you known as?
Nao Finisterre (or just Finisterre)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
"Nao Finisterre" is a blog to share travel chronicles, with a strong focus on history, culture, and individual experiences. The target audience are avid travellers that are intellectually curious. They are seeking inspiration for their own voyages. They are sophisticated and multicultural 21st century travellers. They have probably visited all the usual spots, and they are now seeking deeper experiences in familiar places, or discovering new places and meanings. Rather than chasing the latest "off the beaten track" fad, they are traveling at their own pace. For them, the external visit to a place is really a vehicle to explore their inner self. The blog's title has two elements Nao, a type of 16 century sail ship, and Finisterre, literally Latin for land's end. In that sense, it reflects the external act of traveling to a far flung place to discover the confines of your own internal life.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Travel & Hotel
Other color requirements
Open to ideas, but conceptually may be worth signalling that often I imagine two colors/elements, one is the sea, ocean, blue (and variations), windy, ethereal; the other is land, solar, ochre (and variations), rugged, worldly

There may be some inspiration in the following quote:
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
