We are looking for something very pure, simple - think about Scandinavian or Japanese designs, in the white/ black ranges with maybe a touch of color. We want something modern, chic, sophisticated, simple/ pure.
We are keen for the logo to be mostly composed of text (can be encapsulated, underlined, etc.) with less imagery/ etc (maybe 80% of the logo real estate should be composed of the company's name/ 20% could be a small image) . Also, feel free to stylize how L'apostrophe is written (all caps/ all small caps, etc.).
It is important for our design and logo to communicate the same level of sophistication and chic as what existing fragrance brands/ logos communicate. Things we like are Warby Parker or http://www.mommentto.com.
What we however really don't want are the more old-school brands/ logos that play on old attributes of perfumery (e.g., very rococo design, flowers, pompous luxury, etc.). Case in point are Guerlain (too old, rococo), or the Ex Nihilo website (too old fashioned).
For the social media banner/ facebook cover we are looking for something that combines a high quality picture of either people/ nature/ day-to-day life interactions with an over imposition of our logo. This is just a suggestion and are open to try something different.
