konivéo is a German skin care company focused on premium face masks, called sheet masks. THE CATEGORY Sheet masks originated in Asia and are now available around the globe as the new trend item in beauty care. They are a new, innovative type of face mask that is superior to a regular creme mask. • With sheet masks, ingredients/ serum is put on a tissue or gel sheet that is applied to the face. • Sheet masks are easy to use, do not create a mess (they don’t have to be washed off after usage, users simply take the entire sheet off), and offer better ingredient absorption. THE BRAND konivéo is Latin and means “I close my eyes”. This is because our premium products give users a Spa Experience – they can close their eyes and relax while they rejuvenate their skin. konivéo masks have 3 main benefits: 1.) they are easy to use, you don’t need to wash it off and no cream drips on your clothes 2.) it gives you better results than cream masks 3.) when you use it, you have 15 minutes to relax, close your eyes, calm down and just have time for yourself. When you put it on, you feel automatically to be in a luxurious SPA salon. Our main target group are women between 35 – 50 years old with higher income. a) Solution seekers: They have a demanding life style with usually little time because of a lot of work or family duties. Because of that, they need a superior product that is very effective and easy to use in terms of time and application. Some already know what a sheet mask is and some just know the inferior crème masks. They want to give themselves a treat from time to time. For them, a beauty treatment is a way to relax. b) Beauty seekers: They use face masks to look particularly beautiful and have glowing skin, e.g. before putting going out for a special occasion (dinner, party) or as part of a special beauty routine.
What's your vision?
ITEM TO BE DESIGNED • Brand key visual in color (1/1 page 4C) that can be used both vertically (portrait) and horizontally (landscape) • The key visual will be used later on as basis for flyers, promotion posters, a print ad (e.g. in Vogue/ Cosmopolitan) as well as for retail instore materials, e.g. a secondary display. Your proposals will be evaluated in terms of suitability for that. • For the start, the first dimensions to work with would be (scalable use for portrait and landscape needs be ensured): o DIN A4 portrait (Height 297mm, Width 210mm) o DIN A4 landscape (Height 210mm, Width 297mm) COMMUNICATION IDEA • Dive into your personal Skin Spa Moment at home. When you put on a koniveo mask, you feel like you are in a different world. While using koniveo, you feel like you are in a luxury spa – even if you’re actually sitting on your own sofa. OBJECTIVE OF THE KEY VISUAL • Creatively dramatize the ultimate Spa moment escape ( communication idea). • Brand Awareness for konivéo as luxury premium sheet mask brand. • Emphasize product superiority vs. inferior crème mask/ lower quality sheet masks. • Create Desire to try at least one product of product range. HOW WE WANT TO DO THIS • We need the final version in an editable Photoshop/ Indesign/ Illustrator file which we can adapt ourselves at a later stage • We need full usage rights (unlimited time, all countries, all media incl. point of sale, digital, print, printed materials etc.) • We need the final version latest by 02-Dec-2017
- The ad needs to include an in-use-visual i.e. a woman who’s using koniveo and who’s enjoying her SPA moment with closed eyes – for example sitting on her sofa or bed. - The ad needs to communicate the SPA atmosphere. The idea is that once the woman puts on the mask and closes her eyes, she is in a world of Spa. Ideally, there is a slow transition into the Spa world. Usually it takes the woman a couple of minutes to unwind from busy lifestyle to Spa feeling. - The Spa background should be positive and warm atmosphere/ tonality. Dark colors should be avoided as well too stereotypical spa atmosphere (e.g. stacked stones and candles). - The Key Visual needs to contain the following mandatory text content for the print ad (the English back translation is NOT to be included) Mach Dein Sofa zum Beauty SPA !
