Description of the product
We are Haartopf: a professional hair make-up for women. Imagine you have thin hair on your scalp – use our bottle filled with short so-called hair-building fibers, sprinkle them on your head and cover thin spots; your hair will look dense again. The application resembles the use of a salt shaker (see, for example, https://youtu.be/QbyCx4xTEnE for an application of hair-building fibers). The hair-building fibers stick to the hair and the scalp, and remain fixed until the next hair wash.
Description of the product target audience
Women between 25 and 70 years with spots of thin hair on the scalp will buy our product. We want to address women with middle to high income, who are willing to invest in hair make-up cosmetics of high-quality. We sell our product through the online channel in Germany.
We would like to have a luxurious design for the bottle of hair-building fibers that attracts the attention of women having problems with their hair. The design of the bottle should reflect the premium quality of our product for women. The cap of the bottle will be silver and is not part of the design contest. Pictures of the bottle are provided in the file Bottle.jpg and DesignBriefingv2.pdf. Our priorities for the bottle are a feminine and a luxurious design. We do not want to use more than three colors (including white and black; no shades). The body of the bottle consists of two equally sized sides: the frontside and the backside. FRONTSIDE The frontside of our bottle should look luxurious, feminine, clear, rather minimalistic than detailed, and rather serious than playful. Most importantly, we want a product logo on the frontside. Our product logo should be a sketch of a lion’s head in front view. BACKSIDE Most importantly, for the backside, we would like to have a newly created sketch for the mode of application of the hair-building fibers. Some ideas and examples are illustrated in the file DesignBriefing.zip. Further information for the backside (EAN code, address, a vegan mark, net weight and minimum shelf-life) are included in the file DesignBriefingv2.pdf as well. DESIGN EXAMPLES To give you an impression of what kind of designs we like, please see the following two examples: (1) https://www.regaine.de/sites/regaine_de/files/styles/product_image/public/product-images/4.2-produkte-frauen-loesung.jpg?itok=RLt1dB8H For this design, we like: - the color scheme that addresses women, - the small number of colors, - that the brand name is very well visible; but we could also imagine white font on colored background for our design, - the five smooth lines that are reminiscent of hair fibers. (2) http://www.ingrubar.at/ For this design, we like: - that the brand name is clearly visible, - the overall clean and minimalistic appearance, - the small number of colors. In this design, we do not like too much the chosen red color; it looks too aggressive to us, we would like the colors a little softer and less aggressive for our design.
