Food & Drink
We have been growing wine grapes for over 60 years and now wish to value add by marketing some wine ourselves if we can create a distinctive label to help market the quality wine that we produce. The target audience is the younger generation and we are wishing to give them a label that looks simple, appealing and entices them to learn more about the product.
What's your vision?
The wine label is the emergence of a new brand, incorporating a cute and stylish monkey that is appealing and is possibly pictured enticing the customer with the waving of his arm to join him on a journey. The style of wine is sweet and pink in colour, and is a popular wine with young people and I’m trying to incorporate the cute looking monkey as being the figure/Logo that people remember. I would prefer the label being simple; the label is telling the story and giving the consumer confidence that the wine is a quality and sincere product. Some pink on the label would be ok, signifying it from a clear Moscato product which may also be released and remembering that the pink colour of the wine would be clearly visible through the glass bottle. I will attach a photo of a cute monkey figure that I have found to be very popular, obviously it would have to be varied a bit so as not to look exactly the same, I am keen to keep the similar short arms and legs and very cute appearance. With this wine being targeted towards younger consumers I’m thinking of the brand name Spunky Monkey The variety is Moscato which is a sweet wine with plenty of flavour I am open to other ideas but have added a concept that I have been thinking about for some time. The wine is Made in Australia and is from the Swan Hill Wine Region.
If you try the idea of the Monkey waving to the customer asking them to follow him further into the picture I can send pictures of grape vines if he was shown between two rows of grapevines. The bottled wine market is very competitive and I would like our label to be something that is stylish, and different and is hoped to the first of many labels promoting the Spunky Monkey wine into the future
