We are representing a company that is looking to launch a new wine range.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for a new wine label for a new range of wine. The range is to be called "Natural Bridge".
The vineyard that the wine will be coming from has a creek along the back which has a family of Platypus in it. They have already released a Platypus wine range. When the creek is lower, there is a crossing point where rocks form a rugged set of stepping stones, and it is from this that they have the idea of "Natural Bridge'.
I have attached a very basic rudimentary mock up. The crest on the top is the family crest associated with the vineyard. Ideally the crest will be embossed in gold leaf, and whatever size fits the design. The line with a bit of the scroll should be deleted as they only want the actual crest. The vineyard are keen to have a wine label that has a European style to it, hence the family crest at the top. They are looking for the label to be incredibly distinctive. The colours don't matter, but the label itself will have a white background, so the colours need to be limited to no more than three. There are six types of wine in the range and each label will be the same with only the name of the variety changing. I have enclosed a pictorial of a wine label composite. Please take this into consideration when designing. We are open to any interpretation and design, the mock up is just a starting point.
