After having done 4 projects with Alice, I can say that she is one of the best designers in 99d in her category.
It was a fantastic experience working with her. She is a true artist.
Her work is different than many others.
Her illustrations are incredibly creative, beautiful, and well-executed.
She interpreted my demands very well, met my desired style and generated concepts that were sophisticated and eye-catchy.
And it is clear through her illustrations that she holds herself to a very high standard.
She also understands what target audience means in terms of marketing and provides advice in that direction.
She makes multiple variations to make sure you are satisfied and she communicated perfectly.
She exceeded my expectations by far and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! I could not ask more.
I recommend her without any reservation.
Thank you very much Alice for your great work.
I will reach out to you for my next project.
I absolutely loved the design. There were a lot of great designs but this one really stood out - clean modern lines and font - wonderful. thank you!

Greg is an excellent designer and a very good communicator. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He also has extensive experience creating maps which was perfect for our project.

The barkpacker community provides helpful tips for people traveling solo around the world with their dog. This project is the first physical map designed and has been funded by the community of Hood River, Oregon.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
This project is a free map and I would like for it to follow the size and shape and general design of use-it maps in Europe. Here is a link to multiple of the maps so you can see they vary in style but the general idea is the same: https://www.use-it.travel/cities
You can click on the individual cities on the left and see their maps.
The entire map will be about 40.5 inches x 40.5 inches. Each of the squares (3x3) are 13.5 inches wide and tall.
I would like the map portion to take up 4 of the squares. *Note, the first google map screenshot attached that shows the businesses is not a square so I've attached a square area below it.
For now, I'm really just looking for the actual map to be designed. No points on the map would need to be added. Just the road map with some design elements showing where the river is, maybe building tops (maybe not). I like a sort of cartoony look.
On the use-it website, the cities I particularly like the map design for are Ostrava, Leuwarden (my favorite of all the maps because of the way the map blends in perfectly with the information), Leiden (I like the idea of having a slightly different color for residential areas than business areas. I've indicated the business areas in the google map image of Hood River in case this is something you implement), and Calais (this is a very similar town layout to Hood River so I can picture this exact style working well).
I have an artist doing the cover art and other elements. She uses watercolor and I've attached some images showing her style. I would like the map to be able to somewhat match the style of art. Mostly just the softness of the colors.
I may be looking for help with layout once the map and the art are in but I also may just lay it out myself. It depends if I want more design put into the entirety of the map.
