A blog on quality food, fashion and culture in MIami for the 45+ set
What's your vision?
The challenge is to do a logo and blog design using word press for my new blog called Miamicurated about Miami food, fashion and culture. Here’s a description of what it’s all about: Food worth the calories (WTC), stylish fashion with flair, and culture in Miami for the affluent and relatively affluent 45+ set, welcome to my blog. My serious training to be picky was cultivated in Manhattan, home for many years. I was one of those New Yorkers who passionately researches the places to find the best bagel, freshest fish, hottest restaurant for great food and elegant people watching, museum show, you name it. And I’ve taken that approach to Miami. But others do that. What’s my special approach? There’s a difference between what you’re looking for when you’re over 45 or you’re in your twenties or thirties.. We want to be able to hear one another in a restaurant, prefer tablecloths, no to long lines, yes to quality and value. And then there will be the accessories, which I plan to sell online, figuring it was about time since people constantly stop me to ask about buying what I’m wearing. Look forward to hearing from you. I’d like something that looks sophisticated, clean , (a European type aesthetic) with some flair (think fashion) and would appeal to men and women. The images in the blog should pop the way they do on the blog of food blogger David Lebovitz. In terms of design I like A Perfect Gray. Though not a blog I also like urban daddy’s look. For a color scheme I’m thinking a Miami palate like the sunset I saw the other day (baby blue, cantaloupe and white , turquoise/light gold/ white or the beige/white family. There should be two columns: on the left, the blog posts. On the right at the top, my photo with about; several images under that which illustrate the sensibilities of what the blog is about (ideas are a photo showing a table with placements and an X over it; a photo of people waiting in line with an X, a photo illustrating the point of people at dinner in a restaurant showing conversation; and a photo illustrating the concept of value); blog categories including fashion, food, culture, wellness and lifestyle; and archives.
