The first screen, our home screen, is the top level of the app. From here the user can quickly get to any feature. The buttons need to be accessible and emphasized based on importance. The workout button and exercises button are the most used in the app. The other buttons are less important.
The second screen is our Exercise Reference. This screen allows a user to view all of the exercises in the app. We divide the exercises into 4 primary movement categories: Push, Pull, Legs, Core. Remaining exercises are found in the Whole Body category. All exercises are in the “all exercises” section. Progressions are lists of common exercises in increasing difficulty.
The third screen is a timer. The timer is where our users spend the most time. It is the CORE of the app. This section must be extremely accessible and straight forward. Since it is used while working out, important buttons must remain large and the pause button must remain small to avoid accidental pressing.
