Ashwin.raju needed a new app design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 46 designs submitted by 14 freelance designers.
The app allows customers to search for beers and get tasting notes on their mobile phone.
Beer colors. Clean, simple design. Slightly playful and liquid like beer.
Bleary
When the user clicks on the app icon, a splash screen should be shown with "Bleary" on it.
Then the user is taken to the main app page. The unstyled page is in the first screenshot (Screen1). It has two text boxes to enter brewery name and beer name and a disabled "Go" button.
As the user enters the brewery name, the app will autosuggest the brewery name. In the screenshot (Screen2), you can see it suggesting "Left Hand Milk Company".
As the user then enters the beer name, the app will suggest beers from that brewery such as "Milk Stout Nitro" as you see in the screenshot (Screen3). Once there is text in both the brewery and beer text boxes, the Go button will be enabled.
Once both brewery and beer name are entered, the app will look like Screen 4.
On hitting the Go button, a progress indicator should be shown as the app contacts the server. See the screenshot (Screen5).
When the server returns tasting notes, the app will show them in a label beneath the Go button as shown in the screenshot (Screen6).
