mbatesfarms5 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
X-treme Farmers looking for an X-treme design to last through the generations.

Bates Next Generation Farms We are a generational family farm that produces corn and soybeans in Northern Illinois. We pride ourselves on doing the best we can at everything we do, and utilizing modern technology. We are also looking to expand in the near future to support the family as it grows.
At this time we are primarily looking for a logo, but we may also be interested in some additional products. We would like to have a very clean, modern looking logo. We would also like to see some part of a corn or soybean plant incorporated in the logo, but it's not a necessity.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
mbatesfarms5 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
