Jean is a great designer and was willing to respond quickly
Thanks again! Great designer to work with!
A great design from the getgo, no need for revisions. It was a fully formed concept when they submitted.

How scottln started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Royal Canadian Cannabis --> would also be interested in seeing "RCC" and "Co." incorporated into designs
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Royal Canadian Cannabis is a cannabis cultivation and technology company based near Hanna, Alberta, in the Heart of the Canadian Prairies. We strive for sustainability and environmental stewardship as we craft world class cannabis products for the medical and recreational market.
Our target audience is quite varied - millennials and young professionals, middle-aged individuals who are returning to cannabis use after a time away and seniors who are using for medical ailments. We are looking for a logo design that will be attractive across many generations and demographics.
Additionally, we are looking for a logo to help brand as a Canadian company as we look to international markets for cannabis products.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
A few notes, as a Canadian company, the color red would be an obvious choice. However, most international customers/clients may not connect as much as Canadians would. Therefore, the color red (as in the Canadian flag) can be very subtle if at all used.
Second, green. We want to stay away from cliche "green" cannabis colors.
HAVE FUN EXPERIMENTING!
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Like the "stamp" look of this design.
Simple with use of a crown.
I like the idea of the "age" of this logo design.
Another emblem type design.
Classic, simple colors, clean.
Again, speaks to "age", writing in semi-circle.
Small leaf design, stacked design of words.
Speaks to an "artisan" or "craft" product. simple font.
Hipster design, speaks to craftmanship.
For branding purposes, the emblem is classic.
Love the simple colour usage and detail/texture.
Love the lettering and design. Again, simple and slick yet intriguing.
Just rad. Trendy and hipster logo. Classy.
Cool use of lettering and sophisticated cannabis leaf.
We are wanting to stay away from the cliche, "stoner" subculture. Use of cannabis leaves is optional, however, should be kept to small component of design.
We have chosen to use Castle Mountain in the Canadian Rockies and would be interested to see options using this to some degree (see attached photos).
Open to use of crown and maple leaf is very much encouraged.
***** As we have extended our contest, we would like to see a modern take on the classic royal crest.
