'The Secret Farmer' is an online farmers market, existing to provide everyone access to high quality organic, free range and sustainably grown food. To reduce food miles and encourage support for local producers. We will provide the marketing (mainly via product packaging and the online store) and organisational skills required by all ‘compatible’ small farms to sell their products direct to the end consumer. We will aim to provide the best quality local produce at comparable prices to supermarket costs whilst retaining the increased farmers margin that a small farmer needs.
Logo types to explore
Our Philosophy 'From Little Things Big Things Grow' is the slogan that summarises the vision of The Secret Framer. Demographics Our demographics are those people who want to eat better quality food, with better flavour and taste but at prices that they can afford. They live in the city and know nothing about the farms where their food is grown, but they are interested. They watch the Gourmet Farmer, Jamie Oliver and River Cottage. Vision As supermarkets strive to reduce costs they also reduce quality. The Secret Farmer is about linking the customer to the local farm to buy and enjoy the produce. We are also about reducing Food Miles so that the product that you eat is fresher, tastes better and does no damage to the environment. What we do The business will provide the packaging and supply chain to the farmer, we will also provide the online 'farmers market.' The customer will simply choose what they want to but and we will do the rest. All products will be labelled as The Secret Farmer but sub-labelled with some personal information on the farm your food came from. The Brand The brand 'The Secret Farmer' symbolises all the farmers that grow our food but for the most sake are nameless, we don't know who they are or how they do what they do. The Secret Farmer will introduce you to your local farmer and provide the old fashioned way of shopping, straight from the land. The Logo This Logo design will shape the Identity for the entire brand. It needs to transfer easily from product packaging to website design as well as all of our stationery needs. The focus should be on the product packaging and Website branding. Be creative. You may want to add an image to the actual text. I'm completely open to that. It needs to be simple and easy to read. It should be modern and memorable. Whilst the brand has a fun feel about it the logo should represent a business with great marketing skill and competitiveness. We do not want a logo that is too fun orientated, its a serious enterprise and I don't want our website to look unprofessional or childish. Please don't copy other logos or use existing clip art.
