I'm located on a competitive board walk with a lot of foot traffic; mostly tourists. The term Haole is Hawaiian slang for a non native Hawaiian, typically a caucasian. We are embracing this term as non native Hawaiians and want to be a little silly with it. In my head for the character I envision a tacky/geeky tourist holding a shave ice in one hand and giving the "shaka" sign in the other. Of course I am open to other interpretations and suggestions. As far as colors go I would like to keep it simple to keep merchandising costs low. I have attached a picture of what a typical shave ice looks like as a reference.
