Brimmer & Heeltap is a neighborhood public house providing excellent customer care and specializing in sophisticated beverage selections and crafted, artisanal fare. Part old school tavern, part neighborhood café, this gastro-pub is a gathering space that allows us to cultivate meaningful relationships with our guests, community, crew, and environment.
Our location is on a quaint, flourishing communal block, minutes away from downtown and other thriving Seattle neighborhoods. The venue appeals to anyone living, working and traveling in the area, especially folks residing in adjacent communities (Ballard, Phinney Ridge, Green Lake, Fremont, Shoreline, and Queen Anne). The location is flush with residences, retail spaces, and other urban amenities.
We will create an inviting environment specializing in great beverage selections, outstanding food, and exemplary customer service. A diverse list of local and international wines will be served in tandem with premium draft beers and select liquors. Wine will be available in glass pours, as well as half and full bottle quantities. Delicious northwest fare will be served at sensible prices generating loyal customers who place a premium on quality products.
Our target guests are singles, couples, and families. They are urban professional “foodies” and service industry employees, who appreciate the simplicity and quality of selections found in our establishment. The bar design is friendly and inviting with professionally selected lighting and décor. Upon entering the space, it feels lively yet comfortable and intimate. We would like to have an outdoor patio to attract sun enthusiasts whenever possible. It is a charismatic, relaxed venue that cultivates devoted regulars and inspires gatherings for special celebrations.
The name Brimmer & Heeltap commemorates the proper pour, one that teases the top of the glass and culminates in a satisfying glimpse of the bottom. Like a good toast, Brimmer & Heeltap will be a place that evokes camaraderie – a sense of where we’ve been and where we want to arrive.
