This contest as the title suggests is for a total amount of Four hundred dollars ($400.00) to create the Business Identity Package we require, beginning with the most important aspect our signature (logo, brand mark) and then moving on to complete the rest of the 'elements (tasks) related for our business identity.
On that note, I would like to 'ask' those of you 'talented' artisans (artists) 'who may be considering' entering this particular contest to understand that my expectation(s) are that the individual artist (graphic designer) 'whose' logo design most appeals will naturally be the overall selected winner and would be expected complete the full 'contest' requirements thus claiming the $400.00 (USD) offered in this contest.
IF this is unsuitable to you, or you feel that you may be unable to fulfill ALL requirements and tasks, THEN I strongly suggest you do not enter this contest.
Personal Note - Due to the complex 'nature' of this contest, I would like to humbly suggest the following 'rules of engagement' (guidelines), which are the following:
ONE: You are entering a contest that requires original artwork and a multiple number of formats, therefore focus upon the first task, this being the requirement entitled number one (1) and the specifications given in the 'description and style guide' portion of this contest.
TWO: Specifications for the requirement entitled number two (2) are directly (intimately) related to requirement entitled number one (1) and the specifications given in the 'description and style guide' portion therefore a natural part of this contest and next step for successful 'brand mark' (logo) designer.
We are looking for a logo with a symbol that is reflective of the services we offer and in tune with the best practice and standards' orientation (focus) we use in our business practices.
The business name we have chosen for this process is: BPC
Tagline: Best Practice Consultantz
This contest is the first step in developing a brand that will be recognizable in intended target marketplace; we require fresh, professional, eye-catching branding and are open to all creative ideas - so please do not be shy.
For this business, and its web site we require an eye-catching logo.
The new logo will be used for both print and web, and will need to work in a variety of sizes as well, down to a minimum height of about 40 pixels.
The tag line does not need to appear on the logo at its smallest size.
As detailed in the style section below the icon portion of the logo needs to be suitable to the meaning of Consultants in a sense :), so if you can provide a couple of options here it would help up decide. Up until this point we had been using a Globe (symbol) and BPC- Best Practices Cpnusltantz (lettermark logo style).
A great resource for symbol inspiration is Symbols.com - http://www.symbols.com/
I will give feedback on entries and frequently as possible, this will be more than likely once every 24 hours at a time suitable to my schedule, as the contest duration is limited to fourteen (14) days.
Payment will be made upon completion of the contest to the winner after final revisions have been completed, at this stage these payment options are either Paypal or Escrow.
By submitting logos you guarantee all the work is original and your own, and by accepting the prize money all rights to the image transfers to the contest holder, and name of business identity.
Although I do not expect to need to exercise it, I reserve the right to end the contest without a winner if no winning entry can be arrived upon.
