Smithangela got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo for Mel's Diner
Check out Smithangela's Logo design contest…
We are a 1950's diner based in Waterloo, Ontario. Our goal is to be authentic NOT nostalgic. Genuine movie posters from the 50's hang on the walls and we have booths designed like the 57 Chevy seat. We want it to be classic 50's but relevant to today. We cater to a lot of University Students and families. Please look at the photos in the brief as we like our old logos and were hoping for something similar that has a more professional look.
Logo types to explore
We also need menu background and a few other projects so we are looking to form a relationship with a designer to help with all our projects. I have uploaded some photos of the inside of the restaurant, the breakfast menu that I did myself and the old logo as well as the old signage. The restaurant burnt down 18 months ago and we are rebuilding to open in March. The logo needs to translate many places including menu, signage, tshirts, advertising etc. CANT WAIT to see what you all come up with! Thanks for considering this project :)
