Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I want to keep the very clean overall concept for the logo and down the road I want to get more into full poster/canvas art scenes or characters. I need to incorporate some more traditional features that dia de los muertos and the catrinas are known for.
I want a bright color scheme with very traditional color scheme that are very Mexican/dia de los muertos for my overall brand. But I need the skull for my logo to be simple enough that a version could be produced in two colors.
Looking just at the skull on the uploaded picture of the tattoo. I think this skull is the best representation for me that to have any traditional dia de los muertos theme we need the full skull not just an outline. I like the angle the face is pointed off to the side an not straight on, although I would like ours point more right. I like the teeth both because they're smilee and also because they are defined. I like the depth of the art with regard to shading, but I can also see this a simple/clean version with just an outline. If the skull was more masculine and there was more a a sombrero this could almost be it. The logo needs to be able to have a simplified version that is two color because I'm going to be doing some embroidery on shirts and cutouts in metal.
If a full skeleton is used it needs to be slender overall but with good humps/bumps in the right places. As much as the slender is the tradition I want some of my characters to have beer belly's for sure.
