the GreenHouse Inn by the Bay will provide the level of guidance that guests desire so they can retreat from the demands of their every day lives. The only requirement is that guests experience the area how they want to experience it.
Local attractions: we are a two story, ocean front green (color) house with 4 guest rooms that feature a large, enclosed greenhouse (2000 sq ft) attached the library. Guests enjoy ocean views, ships passing daily, and the Dungeness lighthouse across Marine Drive to the North, and, beautiful mountain vistas to the south from our 3 acre property.
Area-wide attractions include: the Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, Pacific Beaches, Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, Lake Crescent, Dungeness Spit- the longest natural sand spit in the US, Hurricane ridge, Dungeness crab, Olympic Game Farm, lavender farms and several local wineries. The annual Lavender Festival in July enjoys over 30,000 visitors who come to enjoy the sights & scents of acres of blossoming lavender.
Guest profile is active couples who come to the Olympic Peninsula to recreate in, and appreciate, the outdoors. Many are mature with enough discretionary income to afford vacation in a bed and breakfast. The B&B allows older children to stay and has a no pet policy.
