matthew.hinson got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Grid Miner - Electricity Grid Mining App
Check out matthew.hinson's Logo design contest…
Mine value in the electricity grid while helping to keep it stable. Grid Miner is the first app that enables people to harvest value from the electricity grid through connected smart devices. During times when the electricity demand is out-pacing supply, or when your supplier faces the financial risk of having not purchased enough load ahead of time, customers can get rewarded in cryptocurrency for allowing adjustments in their thermostat. Our target audience is the irreverent Wallstreetbets subreddit type who are into cryptocurrency, particularly those who mine cryptocurrencies. These people are fun, self-deprecating, have a great sense of humor, and don't take life too seriously. They love to find arbitrage opportunities and harness their assets to build wealth. They are fairly libertarian in viewpoint, meaning they value freedom, free markets, and generally have a lower regard for "the establishment" and overreaching government policies that encroach on the fruits of their labor and give unfair advantages to the large corporations.
I’m mostly interested in pictorial and combination logos, but I’m open to all ideas. Maybe incorporate an old man gold-miner or robot version of the same with a pick? I don't know. Do your thing!
