YSA (Youth Service America)

YSA (Youth Service America) improves communities worldwide by increasing the number and the diversity of young people, ages 5-25, serving in substantive roles. YSA coordinates Global Youth Service Day (http://www.GYSD.org) and Semester of Service, distributes over $1 million in grants annually, and provides resources and trainings.

GYSD (Global Youth Service Day) is YSA's major annual international day of service.

We're looking for a GYSD logo, not a YSA logo. We have attached YSA logos for your reference to ensure consistency among our logos.

GYSD is a day of service and solving community problems, so we want the logo to be action oriented.

Please spell out the words Global Youth Service Day in the logo.

We've attached other GYSD logos that we have used in past years. Each year, we have a logo specific to that year with that year's dates. However, for this process, we want a timeless GYSD logo without dates that we can use for many years.

Please incorporate the YSA name or logo into the GYSD logo. For example, adding the image from YSA_Blue_solo.png as part of the GYSD logo with the words "a program of" or "powered by" or something similar. (GYSD is YSA's biggest program, so we want people to know that YSA is the organization that coordinates GYSD.

The GYSD logo will be used around the world, and will be translated into multiple languages, so the logo needs to work internationally. (We will also need a file format and font that we will be able to translate the words in the logo.)

We want the logo to appeal to children and youth ages 5-25, so we need something that would be appealing to the full range, from young children through university students / young adults.
