Fresh new logo for Carbs & Cals!

Carbs & Cals

We publish health books with hundreds of food photos, with the nutritional information (carbs, calories, protein, fat, etc) clearly displayed. Our books are very visual and people can simply look at the photos to see how many carbs and calories are in each portion.

We have 2 main colours: blue and green.
The blue gradient is currently 01acda to 3191c4
The green gradient is currently 5ab784 to 479f73

We have an existing logo, but it's 5 years old now, so we're looking for a fresh new one.

The new logo should be:
- Simple
- Not too different from our current logo so people can recognise it
- East to look at
- East to read
- There needs to be 2 version (wide format and more square format)

It can't be toooooo different from the current one, because existing customers still need to recognise our brand. So we need to keep blue/green generally and it needs to represent the coloured nutrient circles in our books, so there needs to be a link between the logo and the nutritional info.

We need 2 versions if possible - a wide version (to go on book cover/spine for example), and more of a square format too.

The old font in Century Gothic, but we don't use that anymore. The latest font we use in our book is Museo Slab and we've also Open Sans in the past too.
