What is your business concept?
My mission is to create a business that delivers results that are strong enough to compel every client to sell my services for me.
I will do this by creating a personal training service that gives mums a healthy, fun and easy way to get back into shape…and keep them there
What would be your core product details?
There will be 2 types of products:
1) Group sessions – Drop off camp (any other names are welcome!)
These sessions will offer a boot camp style training session that involves warming up, performing exercises that targeting specific muscle groups. These sessions will run at a set time a couple of times a week, these will run at 9.15 near Swaffield School.
People will be charged £5 an hour per session or £40 for 10 sessions that they can use as they wish.
As a participant each person will get a hand out that will give them other tips and hints on eating healthily and weight loss.
Additional nutritional advice would also be available on a one to one basis
2) Tailor made group sessions – available for any groups that want to set up their own sessions
3) Individual one to one training
This is a more traditional personal trainer service that is dedicated to mums wanting to get back into shape. Services as part this would include a combination of:
- Initial consultancy session that includes lifestyle questionnaires, physical activity readiness questionnaire, health screening, measurements, weight and fitness test.
- Setting of short, medium and long term goals
- Creation of a tailor made fitness programme pending the individual’s specific requirements
- Regular hand outs and guides regarding tips for health eating.
- Management and delivery of individual one on one training sessions
- Open access consultancy and advice by phone and email
Prices will be set at £50 per hour, with discounts available for multiple bookings (e.g. 5 sessions for £200)
The intention to create programmes that people can buy into from the website (e.g. gold, silver, bronze)
Who is the key audience?
Having children is a pivotal moment in any person’s life. For a mother a new child presents new challenges and experiences and any mother quickly understands that her priorities change significantly. The world revolves around that child and providing him/her with the best possible up bringing..every mother wants to be a good mother, it’s in her soul.
…but there comes a time when all mums look at themselves in the mirror, it might be the odd glance as she walks past a shop window, or that dress in the wardrobe that she hasn’t worn for years. These moments are pivotal, it’s when mothers want to be a little bit more like they once were- a little bit more confident.
Some will do something about this feeling, some won’t. Are target audience is those that might, those that want to change but need the help to do it. Those that need the encouragement and understanding from someone’s who’s taken the decision to do something about it and has completed that journey.
Taking a decision to change takes time commitment and effort. Our core make me fit again mum will live in SW London, is unlikely to be working full time, is coming out of the commitment of a young/pre nursery children. She will have a group of close nit friends most of whom will be like minded mothers..she will claim that she’s not competitive …but we know the truth. However much she might have changed since she had children she still has the confidence to compete and make an active decision when the time is right.
