Our company is a combination of travel and language learning, for adults. Our goal is to create experiences in cities around the world that let people use their languages to have fun. We're not a language school, and we're not a travel agency, but we try to take the best qualities from both. Almost like Airbnb, our users can tell us what city they're traveling to (Tokyo, Shanghai, San Francisco, Bangkok, etc) and then we will show them a list of experiences they can select, such as eating street food, going to a famous park, and more. They will learn a language through this experience, for example, using Chinese to order food in Shanghai. We don't expect to help our users to "master" a language, just speak enough to help understand the culture better. Hence, the name of our company: Pidgin, speaking enough of a language to communicate with the people of your new home/country.
We also organize huge multilingual language events in cities around the world. We have designed these events as a place for anyone to join, practice any language they want, and meet people from around the world.
Our company is very international and we plan to operate in all major countries. However, most of our users come from China/Asia. Asian logos tend to be more playful and cute.
