Our winning designer was spot on! He was so different and out of the box, but his design captured our restaurant's theme, flavors and spirit.
Zyra was terrific throughout. really nailed the design brief. Thank you Zyra!

We're a blog that covers the American backcountry (National and State Parks) and the towns around them. We strive to capture entrancing landscape photos and write stories and guides to go along with them. The target audience is people who like exploring the outdoors and the small towns nearby. This includes campers, climbers, hikers and also leisure vacationers who want to get out of the cities.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

I would rather have a wider logo than a tall one. I'm also thinking it would be cool to have a bear silhouette followed by a small fox silhouette (or even more realistic looking animals,) both walking (I don't want the fox leaping like in the photo I gave). The animals relate to the outdoors and the whole "ramble" part of it, since they would be walking in a leisurely stroll.
As an alternative, I liked the San Diego Urban set up, but could see the bear and fox walking up the mountain or being incorporated in some way.
Finally, I don't want it to be too retro or complicated like I've seen with so many other outdoor designs. I'm looking for a mix of outdoorsy and modern.
I'd also like to see some color, maybe some darker blue and dark orange or green and orange. Darker red wouldn't be a bad alternative to orange. The logo also needs to look good when overlayed on a website background. I plan on having a large header background that's dimmed or black and white.
