vitalrepz got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design An Explosive Weightlifting Logo
Check out vitalrepz's Logo design contest…
I would like the logo to have a somewhat rugged and primal look — perhaps vintage too but this is optional. I don't want the logo to look cheesy or over the top in terms of bodybuilding — think reps and hard work rather than huge synthetic muscle men. As for the colors, you can be creative. But there’s a few I don’t want to see; no pinks, purples, yellows or any other neon-like colors. As for the design specifics, I would like you to incorporate an illustration that shows reps/repz are being performed. I have a few ideas for this: You could draw a barbell with chalk on it, or chalk on the floor next to it. You could also draw a man picking up this barbell as you would in a deadlift. My second idea is a flexing bicep with a little cardiogram (see attachment) on or near it to signify how ‘Vital’ repetitions are. These are just ideas and not 100% set in stone so you can create what you see as best fit. About our Brand: we talk about supplements and weightlifting on our website. Our audience is mostly guys between 18 — 35 who like lifting weights and getting buff. This explains our name because “Repz” are Vital in the gym.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.

And then… they selected a winner!
GESON was very professional and interpreted the design brief with precision and creativity. He was receptive to revisions and trying different combinations to help me make a decision. After the contest he stayed in good communication and made final revisions and cleanups to all of the design files. Would definitely work with again!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
