Going back 20 days in time I found Archiwiz' original input for the logo design contest. It was quite different from his final, winning design.
I think it is great that Archiwiz could show his design capabilities by changing track and proposing a completely new design approach.
I don't know how many variations of the final logo design and for the various brand identity elements we had. But he took his time and didn't mind the effort going through "2,5 mm right, 2 pix down".
I very much appreciate his dedication to my new logo design.
How mshahi03 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
GoodFellas Barbers & Blades
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
GoodFellas Barbers & Blades is a mens barbershop in an urban center in Canada. For now we will offer barber and grooming services, eventually we may incorporate products and merchandise. Our target audience is boys and gentlemen of all ages looking for trendy haircuts, fades, and beards, more specifically 16 to 40 year olds. Cultural influences for our branding and theme include basketball and hip hop. Our shop will be more than just a place to get cool haircuts, it'll be a place to hang out.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Cosmetics & Beauty
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We'd like a clean, classic, yet unique mens barber shop design with touches of vintage, modern day craftsmanship, and masculinity. The logo will be incorporated into all marketing, including store front signage, social media, future products/merchandise. GoodFellas is the main part of the name that needs to be highlighted, and Barbers & Blades is part of the name but is more like the descriptor.
