$400 - Cutting Edge Logo Needed Fast For Shopping Mall Internet Terminals!

We are designing the interface used by the public for new internet terminals for "Escape Internet" being installed in high profile shopping centres around Australia. The logo will need to have broad appeal (probably youth/traveller focus however), and be very modern and eye-catching.

Desired Color Scheme: Open, but must work on black background also Desired Style: Modern, stylish, elegant, cutting edge, Accepted File Formats: PDF, EPS, AI The client hasn't given many parameters only that it be "magic and super glam!". It will appear on the screen, on the terminals, and in signage attached to the terminal area. We envisage a combination of icon and text, conveying the sense of "escape with the internet, communication, fun etc" - something slick and modern, yet with a touch of conservatism/elegance so that it has broad appeal, and will sit comfortably in a mall environment. It can't be so over the top that the mall owners won't allow it! It will of course need to go with the interface design done so far. Please click here to see a prototype screenshot. This screen appears on a 32" touchscreen which is the main payment interface. The logo will *probably* appear on a black background, so keep this in mind when designing. It should be simple, bold, and striking - suitable for signage. The chairs used at the terminal will be actual big plastic ESC keys - so that kind of them is acceptable also. The font used througout the system is Camingo - so feel free to use it in the logo or something complementary. The finished product will be delivered in PDF or EPS for Adobe Illustrator CS2 ideally. Extra $ may be awarded if we are blown away!! The client wants to see 3 different concepts so more people will have a chance to have their work shown. If elements from different entries are used then the prize may be split.
