Other notes
The original logo design is above and it is very busy and old looking. Our three key areas include Education, Research and Service.
We want to have a new image to launch our strategic planning of "increasing the visibility and effectiveness of the Texas Academy of Science in promoting strong science in Texas." We have around 800 members with about half of those students and we do a lot to engage students in research and presentation at our annual meeting. In terms of our slogan, that is another area we would like to develop.
