- cv design
CV Design took a very creative approach to my logo design. Just what I was looking for!
How dmbarr started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
D Queen of Sleep
What’s your company slogan?
THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE IN LOGO but the tagline is "your deep sleep guide"
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is an online sleep programme designed to guide people to regular restful sleep, it incorporates hypnotherapy tracks, lessons, and questionnaires with specialist feedback and advice from a qualified sleep professional (myself "D"). I had to select an industry but it would actually be in the Wellbeing industry not Physical Fitness.
Its target audience is anyone with (non medical) sleep issues but I do specialise in working with athletes
I preferably want to work with a designer for the future requirements over the next year which will be website header and pages, email template design, possibly some illustration, a deck of cards and facebook and twitter page designs, so looking for something that will work well in all media and sizes.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The illustration (which is of me) will be used on the website - there is one of a man sleeping as well. This does NOT have to be part of the logo (probably not as too complicated) - it just gives a feel of where the site is heading.
I need this logo to reflect building a brand around myself (D) as I am the "soothing voice" of the recordings and the specialist but to avoid too much femininity/girlyness - I want to attract male clients as well as I work a lot with sleep issues in athletes as well as the general public.
I have searched for a cool symbol of sleep but unable to find anything I like (the poppy flower has too many connotations with drugs and death)
As facebook and twitter will be prime marketing platforms the logo needs to be fairly simple to fit into their web button icons?
