Food & Drink
We sell Italian Ice at local parks and events (car shows, parades, craft fairs, etc) out of an Italian Ice pushcart. We target everyone from children to adults.
Logo types to explore
We sell 4 flavors at a time out of the cart but have over 20 flavors to choose from. Our most popular flavors are blueberry and cherry. We want a very fun and eye-catching logo. We plan on using it on our t-shirts, website, business cards as well as incorporating it into our A-frame sign and sides of the push cart. I attached a picture of what the cart currently looks like to give you a better idea. We need the graphic to really stand out among a crowd of other vendors and want people to want to purchase our ice. I attached a picture of a pre made logo we found on 99designs that suites an ice cream shop. We like the concept behind it (the company name in the banner with a picture of italian ice in the background) or feel free to do something completely different. We are very open to any design concepts. We would like it much brighter and more modern looking. I am also attaching some clipart pictures we found of italian ice that we like as well as some other logos we liked. Once we choose a winner we are looking to continue working with them 1 on 1 on designing a few other images we need. We are looking for a separate picture of italian ice where we can change the color of the ice for different products. The name Finch & jaXx are nicknames for the owners of the business. We love the idea of 2 characters to represent the two names of the business (Finch & Jaxx) The main colors of our business are going to be turquoise and white but would like other eye popping colors included in the logo. We are willing to change the color scheme if you feel you have something more interesting. We would like italian ice incorporated into the logo. The look of the ice is important. If you look at the pictures the cup is taller with a scoop of ice on top. It is important that it does not look like ice cream or a cupcake. The white cups we serve it in are an important look of the italian ice. Overall, it needs to be bright, fun, and have a lot of color. It needs to be easy recognizable as an italian ice cart because at fairs, carnivals, craft fairs, and other events people have a lot of options and we want them to choose us. Thank you so much and we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Our website is http://www.finchjaxx.wix.com/finchjaxx We really want to stand out from the other leading Italian Ice vendors (Ritas, Little Jimmy's). Explanation of Uploaded Logos: 1. Scoops - We really like the way the letters are done with the melted ice. We also like the penguin. We are contemplating having a character represent the brand like a penguin and call him Finch. 2. Blue Italian Ice - It is a clipart picture we found that looks a lot like an actual ice that we serve. Our ices come in those white paper cups. 3. Ice cart with red ice - We like the modern look of the italian ice graphic and how fun it is. 4. We like the look of the banner with the ice cream in the background. We would want a much brighter, bolder look, with a more modern font but enjoy the look of it. 5. Ice cream house - We like the colors and the edgy look of it. 6. Blue/Magenta Ice cream - We like the colors (bold and bright) and it is very sleek and modern 7. Penguin - The colors are too pastel but again we like the idea of a penguin or maybe a polar bear (one named Finch & one jaXx) 8. Ice cream faces - We like the characterization of the cones 9. Spoon - That is the look of the spoons we use not that there needs to be one in the logo 10. The white paper cup what we serve the Italian Ice in and makes it stand out from Ice Cream
