Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am interested in rebranding my company and this includes changing the name. My business is a tour and travel business located in Uganda, East Africa.
Our main product is providing educational and cross-cultural tours to international travelers (especially students & colleges) to East Africa. However we also provide african safaris, car-rental services and accommodation reservations to both local and international clients.

We chose the name Red Road because we felt it was the best name we could find that was not so cliche and yet described what we do and where we come from.
We got our inspiration from the red dusty dirt roads that meander throughout most of East Africa's towns and villages. We liked it because for any one who has traveled to Africa, that image is very vivid. Most of the journeys and interactions with communities takes place on these roads. We also felt that Red road describes authenticity. We are not just interested in providing safaris that don't give the actual picture of Africa. Which is what most companies do. They pick you up from the airport, take you to a nice spacious lodge, view the famous wildlife and take you back to the airport. This traditional way of traveling does not give a real feel of Africa. We are interested in giving people an authentic african experience that involves appreciating people, culture, nature and history.
With all this in mind, we want a logo that defines us and what we do. A logo that gives us an identity.
