I recently joined the Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company as their Director of Marketing. One of the first jobs I am undertaking is a complete overhaul of all our products and packaging - the majority of which haven't been updated in 25 years! Our logo was possibly in need of the most attention as this will be used over our extensive product range. King_Zulian was a pleasure to work with. When we came back with feedback he quickly made the changes we requested - and generally went that bit further providing us with mock-ups of his proposed logo on packages etc which really helped me sell this design to the team. Despite a lot of strong competition King_Zulian really understood the direction we're wanting to take our company in and his logo will serve as a strong foundation for our brand redevelopment and is a logo I can confidently see us using for many years to come.

The Sydney Chef is an online blog promoting the work I do as an apprentice chef. I moved from Canberra to Sydney to follow my passion and become a chef. The website will have weekly recipes which I call my secret recipes, information on places to explore in Sydney which I call Food Escapades and also have reviews of new, old and existing restaurants, cafes, bars, you name it!
The target audience is going to be anyone who enjoys food and cooking, young people aged between 18 and 35 who are looking to explore Sydney. This is a website predominantly targeting the immediate population of Sydney
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I have only started the construction of the coming soon page which can be seen at http://www.thesydneychef.com.au. I'm still thinking about the idea of a slogan such as Recipes / Adventures / Reviews but not yet set in stone. If you have any recommendations of something that would be most appreciated. I want the logo to somehow incorporate the Sydney Harbour Bridge coupled with food. For example the arms of the bridge could be different utensils such as a spatula, tongs, rolling pin and the base could be a chopping board and the clouds could be a chefs hat? I like things that are beachy, the ocean, warm weather. A lot about why I'm doing this is because I want people to experience food in Sydney the same way I have which incorporates fun, sun, drinks, friends and some good food along the way which you can make yourself. I love the colors blue, green and orange, they will be an overall theme of colors displayed throughout the website. Think bright colours, vegetables, cooking utensils, anything culinary basically.
