PEACE (Peace Cosmetics)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Peace Cosmetics is a start-up cosmetic company that produces 10-free (we do not use 10 ingredients that have been used in industry that have been shown or known to cause health concerns including cancers, birth defects, etc). All our products are cruelty free. We do not test on animals as many cosmetic companies do. We are Vegan. We do not use animal parts in our ingredients as do many other cosmetic products. We are socially conscious and environmentally conscious.
We are a small mom and pop shop that manufactures the product locally here in the USA and treat our employees well-fair pay and working conditions.
Our initial product is nail polish that targets higher end and responsible working female (and male).
We want to convey our mission of Cruelty-free, Vegan, 10-free, socially and environmentally responsible products but don't want to come off as "tree huggers" but instead with an edge. For example, the person who wears our product my be "Fiercely kind." Has their beliefs and sensitive about being fair and responsible but is not a pushover or allows themselves to be bullied
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Cosmetics & Beauty
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We want a peace sign in our logo. We can easily find a standard peace sign without an artist. What we are looking for is a peace sign that is edgy. See what ideas different people can come up with. We are looking at mullti-colored peace sign with a brushed on paint look? maybe with splotches of different colors with ill defined lines, something edgy. Maybe experiment with look of some paint dripping from logo?
Another consideration is to incorporate animals in the logo (in a non-harmful, supportive way). Perhaps rabbits, horses, dogs, lions, elephants, etc... Whether as part of the peace logo or around it, or painting it? Will rely on artist's imagination.
We plan on having a foundation that financially supports animal causes and education about animals to promote the well-being of all animals but particularly those that are often abused or harmed.
