Reasons for the project My current business is limited to the amount of hours I am able to teach. It is strong and robust as long as I am in top form but I feel it limits my ability to spend more time with my family. I would therefore like to be able to offer a wider scope to my business. Another issue is that not everyone can afford to attend classes in a Pilates studio. Being in New Zealand I am also aware of how difficult it is to have access to well taught classes by a variety of people. I would like to be able to showcase the talent we have in New Zealand and Australia and to make it more accessible for everyday people. With the current economic climate it is important for people to find cost effective ways to stay fit and healthy and I would appreciate some strategies to make this offering streamlined and to be able to update information easily within a designed framework. Goal of the project I want people who love doing Pilates to feel excited and inspired about trying out online classes to complement their existing practice. It is also important to inspire new clients to make Pilates classes a part of their lives. I would like instructors to feel like they have somewhere to send their clients for added exercise time outside of the Pilates studio. We should project something warm and welcoming with a clear sense of identity from the southern hemisphere. Through this venture I would like to be able to showcase the talented instructors we have in New Zealand an Australia. I would like to show that we have a unique perspective and level of expertise down here in the southern hemisphere Objectives In order to make everyone feel like the information they are getting is directly relevant to them and their lifestyle goals. I would like: · A warm welcoming logo that sits apart from my existing business. It should appeal to a variety of people from all age groups and gender · The logo should work well on-line and in print and be simple and effective · It must have a distinctly New Zealand and Australian feel and I believe with Look and Feel consistent high quality very Australasian clean and clear without clutter fitness oriented warm and personal (without being a gym) I am unsure about color choice, can you suggest something? I should also tell you I am not a serif fan when it comes to font styles http://www.australianpilates.asn.au/ Logo is a bit dull but I like the idea of the motion created by the lines. he figure is a bit odd though http://www.studiopilates.com/ The black and white logo looks stylish and has a night and day feel, possibly appropriate for Always Pilates as it will be available 24/7 http://www.basipilates.com/ I like the line quality of the figure and the irregular shape of the icon. the name is clearly visible in a sans serif font. http://www.theimagen.com.au/queenstpilates/httpdocs/index.html Absolutely dislike the purple bubble burst - yuk! http://www.truepilatesnz.co.nz/ They make use of the traditional koru symbol and a single colour. Like the font but the overall feel is a touch unsophisticated. The color is possibly too heavy handed http://www.bodystudio.co.nz/teachertraining.html I dislike both logo's here the upper one is too simple and boring and the Polestar one too complicated and does not say Pilates, it looks like it is for a gym or running club http://www.pinkpilates.co.nz/links-media Very strong and memorable logo. The color is not for me but I like the logo design. Simple easy to remember and uncluttered http://www.iqpilates.co.nz/ Again totally dull and uninspired http://www.clinicalpilates.com/?gclid=COe-1v6A3asCFdCXpAodjEsZQg Clean and uncluttered but too corporate and I do not see a body in motion when I look at this logo http://www.thepilatesstudio.co.nz/Wellington/Welcome.html Interesting, not sure I I feel about it. It does not seem to tell me what type or quality of movement you will experience with this logo http://bodymagic.co.nz/ Again dislike this logo and the color choices. Very 1990's
