alluvialfarms got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Alluvial Farms seeks a timeless and bold logo that catches the eye of people who want to connect to their food

We raise sustainable pastured pork and sell direct to eaters, restaurants, and wholesale outlets in the Puget Sound region who are interested in high quality pork.
We want a logo that we can use on meat packaging, screenprint onto shirts, as well as use on a website and letterhead. The mission of our farm business is to "produce sustainable pork products in Whatcom County, WA, USA. Ecological stewardship and fostering resilient food sheds is at the heart of Alluvial production." We designed the attached logo and like it very much. We would like to work from this image and to see it simplified and contain fewer lines than it does now. We also want to incorporate the name of the town where our farm is located into the logo. It is called Everson, WA. We are interested in a logo that we could have in a black and white version and a version with a few colors. We want the logo to represent an alluvial fan of soil eroding from mountains. This is a constant dynamic process which is a metaphor for the constant change we experience, and the mechanism which creates some of the finest agricultural soils. It should make the viewer feel like these concepts are simple and true and accessible, and evoke confidence in our farming skills as well as in overarching natural processes beyond human comprehension and control.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
