About us

I am an independent musician who writes instrumental progressive rock/metal music.

What's your vision?

I want an album artwork designed in the style of a 50's/60's monster movie poster, that pays some homage to the classics; Godzilla, King Kong, etc. (but please don't include them as they are copyrighted properties). I'd like the basic design to be a giant sasquatch (based around my logo, see picture attachments, although this can be altered as you see fit) attacking a cityscape with the title "Rise of the Samsquatch!", the rest is up to you to decide! A news helicopter blinding the ape? Buildings made out of guitar amplifiers? Citizens fleeing underneath its feet? The military fighting back? Whatever you feel fits the piece. The artwork needs to be able to used as an album cover (front and back with track titles), as well as be used on my facebook page and merchandise; t-shirts, posters, badges/stickers.

Low High Album Design 2017 _______ Brazilian punk band Low High sought imaginative, divergent packaging for their sophomore album "Act Normal." The compositions on the cover and inside booklet reflect themes discussed on the album including heartbreak, impatience, displacement and self-discovery. I wanted each collage to feel unsettling and unusual. My own handwriting is used all through the packaging to help humanize the design and soften its eccentricity.

“Mt Zion Kids” Homepage illustration

The main work of “Mt Zion Kids” is to organize activities for children. The request was to design an image to be placed at the top zone of their Homepage, to catch the attention of the viewers and also to represent what they do. Although they had a lot of photos of their activities, it was decided to create an illustration, in order to avoid showing pictures of real kids for safety reasons. The groups of children in the illustration show some of the activities that are developed in this place. My main objective was to give very happy face expressions to the characters, as well as a vibrant color scheme, to convey a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. The process started by sketching each group of characters in paper. Then, they were all placed together in Adobe Illustrator, where the drawing was created with just black strokes. The final stage was entirely made in Photoshop, adding all the colors, lights, effects and the background landscape.
