Our process is helping people to develop a solid foundation of physical and mental health that helps them better align with their big/crazy/scary/terrifying goals. It's part actual fitness and mental training, coupled with aggressive accountability and support. Also, the name comes from my background in restaurants. To '86' something is to be out of or to get rid of something. So, the idea is that to '86 Gravity' is to get rid of preconceived notions of what you can and cannot accomplish. To be successful, the name has to be legible, and 86 should be emphasized over Gravity. Rather than get fancy with the actual name of the company, I would suggest designing an image/icon rather than playing too much with the text. This design has to be strong enough that people can find this logo/website without knowing anything about it, and be able to easily know where they are. I’m utilitarian when it comes to design. I like flourish and attention to detail, but I want it to have a purpose. Just adding little serifs or components because it looks cool isn’t what I’m going for. **UPDATE: To reiterate, please do not try to combine the 8 and the 6–it makes it hard to read and isn’t what I’m going for. Bonus points for incorporating some more material connections to the brand (mind, body, nature, balance.) Dont get too stuck on capturing the effect of gravity!
