What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My wife and I have teamed up in an effort to help people who are in a relationship lose weight together, without putting undo strain on the relationship. We run a blog about health and weight loss and now are publishing an e-book about effective communication and motivation to lose weight with your significant other. My wife has her doctorate in exercise physiology and I served as a physical fitness instructor in the Marine Corps.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for a book cover for our ebook. We would like something simple, elegant and professional to distinguish ourselves from the competition. Many of the cheaper ebooks in this genre just have a picture of a skinny woman with a tape measure around her waist and we would like to avoid that. There doesn't necessarily need to be a photo or graphic as many of the competing book covers just have the title and authors in a clean font. However, if you would like to include a graphic, something relating to relationships and fitness would be appropriate (a couple running together, for example).
We want the mood of this book to be professional and yet approachable. We're hoping that when people see the cover, they trust our expertise, but don't feel intimidated. The goal of our project is to lean on your significant other to be your support and workour partner.
