Because we are targeting professionals who need to arrive at cities NOT served well by the airlines, we'd like an ad that gives the idea to prospective flight clients that they can travel to an almost infinite number of locations around Houston. We envision numerous (100 +) geographically accurate route lines (but with no city label) leading to numerous regional small cities around Houston (Waco, Stephenwood, Ballinger, San Angelo, Alexandria, Natchez, Monroe, etc...) We will likely order an identical ad, but with a New Orleans centered geography from the winner of the contest.
This is not a service that only flies in Texas. All flights originate from and return to Houston in one day, but the flights can go in any direction from Houston. Many of the flights will go to cities in Texas, but many others will go to Louisiana, or even Western Mississippi. Please see the attached Google Maps screenshot for guidance.
Hundreds of city names don't need to be included in the ad as it will be way too cluttered, but proper range of geography is CRITICAL to the effectiveness of this ad. Most people we are targeting don't think that the airports we serve even exist. There are hundreds of them in a 100-500 mile radius around Houston and people who have a need to travel to a remote, small-city location in the region should be able to look at the ad and say "Wow! With Day Flier I can even fly there!"
